Books are vital for learning, and the library started in 2011. The library offers research material and English & Kiswahili literature to support the students’ work in class.
School books are always second-hand, and student librarians run the library ensuring that all books are signed in and out of the register.
The present library is still small and more essential language, literature and science books are needed. Specific donations to improve the Bookshine library would be very welcome! (Books need to be in-line with the Kenyan curriculum – best bought in Kenya).
